Make this the day you go through!

Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny. ~C.S. Lewis.

Today more than ever, people are struggling in life. They are discouraged, hopeless, down and out, without a vision, and many are even desperate. Moreover, many just can’t pull the trigger to get out of the rut. Is that you? Do you know someone who’s there? Everyone — yes, everyone! — has a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:10-11) but one of the most significant challenges for people today is believing that God is on their side, that God really does want them to succeed and live their life to its fullest (John 10:10). Granted, life has put obstacles and even roadblocks in your way, but rather than seeing those as dead ends and giving up, why not look at those as road signs or slight course adjustments, and keep seeking and asking? Don’t stop due to fear, because — as George Addair says — “…everything you want is on the other side of fear!” Today, instead of ending your journey or giving up, make this the day you go through whatever is weighing you down. Many so-called unsuccessful, untrained, uneducated people have gone before you, and they have lived full and happy lives. Read — and re-read — the powerful scripture below about Peter and John. The trail is still there for you to follow. Don’t stop now! Take the next step and let go of whatever is making you stop (John Mason)!

Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus.” ~Acts 4:13.
